For young people diagnosed with cancer, infertility is one of the most devastating potential side effects of treatment. Historically, especially for women, who have more complex reproductive tracts than men, there wasn’t much to do about this sobering reality. But over the past few years, a new field called oncofertility has raised awareness about new technological advances and the importance of offering patients the choice to preserve their fertility via many of the same techniques used by couples who have trouble getting pregnant.

 Once we followed a lover’s path
The footsteps in the sand
Together we were happy
Walking hand in hand
Precious and cherished
Our love was a dream
Love thought to never parish
Full of passion and steam
One day something happened
You pulled away
My heart forever broken
Tear-stained till this day
Sunrise to sunset
The tide rolling in
All trace of our existence
Coming to a sudden end
Footsteps replaced with tear tracks
No longer walking together
One heart forever broken
Love lost forever
One walking with a new flame
His heart leaving mine
For the arms of another
Cheating all this time
Sunrise gone forever
Replaced with sunset
Tears falling in my path
Once we followed a lover’s path

This video is hilarious as the little girl acts out what we look and sound like at work.

She is actually so good, I think she would qualify for many of the postings today at USAJOBS. :-)

Perhaps, we all need to be ourselves again at work, rather than cliche and acronym robots.

Then we could actually get some real work done, at least when we aren't busy acting like children!
