I have only recently started to meditate to help soothe my pain and to rest.  I am happy to report that it does help a great deal. 

However, I wanted to reblog this post because I am one who has always believed in our God given instincts.  I also believe we (mankind in general) no longer listen to this “primitive” sense and have ignored it for so long that soon it may just drop out of the gene pool as the cycle of evolution continues. In this sense, we are doing mankind of the future a great injustice.

Think of your instinct in this way: If you do not trust yourself, who can you trust?  Having faith in ones abilities is how we succeed and meet goals in our lives.  So open up the closet, dust off this wonderfully primitive sense, and try it on for size.  The more you “wear” it the more comfortable you will be. – Nae
