Very early this morning
I watched as dew formed jewels
On the petal of a rose
I was soon greeted by
The light of a brand new day
And a sparrow still wearing
The dust of the Sandman
It wasn’t long before my face
Was adorned with a beam from the sun
Like children, shadows began to play
The summer sun on my face
Warm and full of life
I feel energy building up
As the house grows warm
A blessing from the
Spirit of the Light
I dress like Autumn
The chosen season for me
Yet another blessing you see
The more blessings I have
The stronger I am
And able to face a new dawn
